arts crime
drama series from Netflix,
with all 10 episodes
available today. Kai Jin
(Iko Uwais) is a chef in

San Francisco, who gets
involved with Chinese

Serengeti
● WILDLIFE / 8pm / BBC1

LAST ONE

The last episode in this
enjoyably different natural
history series, entitled ‘Rebirth’, opens
with stunning footage of animals
crossing a blackened wasteland after
surviving a great fire. Then spectacular
thunderbolts herald a deluge and the
Serengeti is transformed into a lush
pasture. To reach the feeding grounds,

elephant Nalla and her herd must cross
the swollen river, but the current is so
strong that her calf is in danger of being
swept away. The common theme in this
week’s episode is one of youngsters
learning life lessons, such as full-grown
cheetah cubs watching their mother Kike
hunt, while the photography continues to
delight and amaze. ★★★★ IM

FBI
● DRAMA / from 9pm / Sky Witness

NEW

A brand new crime drama by the
team behind Law & Order follows
the inner workings of New Yo rk’s elite FBI
unit as they battle to keep the city, and
America, safe. Missy Peregrym stars as
Special Agent Maggie Bell, grieving the
death of her reporter husband Jason, and
determined to be a force for good in a

world spinning out of control. The first
episode of tonight’s double bill opens in
explosive fashion when an apartment
building in the Bronx is blown apart by
bomb blasts, killing two young boys. At
first it appears to be part of a gang war,
until further investigations reveal
something far more sinister. ★★★★ RMC

● REAL LIFE / 9pm / BBC2

LAST ONE

Lorraine is an NHS intensive care nurse in
Manchester who hasn’t had a pay rise in
eight years. With the rising cost of living, she’s earning
thousands less than in 2010. She’s haunted by memories
of being on shift after the 2017 bombing, but that’s not
the only thing that keeps her awake at night. It seems
cruel that such hardworking people are so poorly
rewarded, yet Lorraine is just one of millions struggling
to stay afloat in modern Britain. ★★★★★ SMA
