Australia’s Bachelor in 2018
as “soul destroying”, Nick
has apparently recovered
from the controversy and
is now willing to put
everything on the line
again to find his match.
“Following the
backlash Nick copped
after his season [when he
dumped both Brittany
Hockley and Sophie
Tieman], he feels it would be
a great opportunity to rewrite the
past and show Australia the real
Nick,” a source dishes. “Coming
back as a contestant will be a
totally different experience than
being the Bachelor. It’s a lot less
pressure and hopefully a more
relaxed environment where
he can be himself this time.”
Nick’s shock decision to return
to the show may be a result of
some recent reflection, having
spent time travelling.
“Nick is in a much better place
now than he was a year ago, but
he feels he can’t move forward
without righting his wrongs,” a
source explains. “He’s reached
out to a lot of the girls [from his
season] but none of them want
a bar of it, so he feels this is the
only option left to clear his name
