and show his true colours.”
While he’s currently in
Europe, the source claims Nick
will be flown back for filming.
“It was important for him to
clear his mind before filming so
he’s mentally prepared and can
really give it his all this time,”
the source explained. And let’s
hope he does just that because
the athlete seems to be just
Angie’s type!
“Nick and Angie are actually
perfectly suited for each other,”
another source reveals. “They
both love to laugh and don’t
take themselves too seriously –
not to mention she was a huge
fan of Nick during his time
on The Bachelor so she will be
thrilled when he walks in.”
While Angie was seen
getting along well with this
year’s Bachelor, astrophysicist
Matt Agnew, at this year’s
Logies, she has previously said
of her ideal man: “They’ll
have to have an epic sense of
humour, not take themselves
too seriously and also be true
to themselves.”
The sentiment coincidently
mirrors what Nick said when
questioned about his decision to
leave the show empty-handed:
“Be honest and true to yourself.”
Sounds like Nick’s in with
a good chance to win Angie’s
heart! Let’s hope he can give
audiences the fairytale ending

Karl Stefanovic’s ex-wife,
Cassandra Thorburn, was
left red faced on live TV
when the viral ageing app
FaceApp was used on her
during her slot on Studio
10. The app – which
creates an aged version of
your face – was also used
on co-hosts Natarsha
Belling

and Sarah Harris, and
while they both laughed
off their transformations,
the 48-year-old author and
mother of three didn’t
seem too happy.
When the image was
revealed, Cass appeared
a little humiliated. “Um,
I don’t know about that.
Not sure about that ... Not
really sure about that,” she
mumbled. “Where’s that
photo ...? Oh, that’s from
a photo off Instagram or
something. I don’t know
that you can take it from
a photo of a photo of a
photo ...” The image was
reproduced from a
professional shoot taken
by the Herald Sun in
February while she was
promoting her new
career comeback.

GEORGE

CALOMBARIS

MasterChef host George
Calombaris would be feeling
the heat, as workers’ rights
advocates are calling for him
to be axed from the show.
The news comes after The
Sydney Morning Herald
reported George had been
fined $200,000, following
an investigation revealed
he’d underpaid $7.83million
in wages to 515 past and
present employees from
his company, Made

Establishment. Australian
Council of Trade Unions
president Michele O’Neil
told 3AW: “This is systemic
stealing from workers. If
you’re going to make your
fortune and your name on
the basis of a brand,
then you’ve got to take
responsibility for the
workers in that brand.”
The chef has expressed
his “devastation” and is
working to rectify the issue.

The chef is in
hot water
after it was
revealed his
company was
underpaying
staff.
