TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF
She’s 46, but Gabrielle Union
hasn’t aged one bit since she broke
onto the scene in the late ’90s in films
like She’s All That and 10 Things I Hate
About You. So where’s the fountain
of youth? The actress says it all boils
down to a balanced lifestyle. “I take
care of my body,” shared Gabrielle,
who exercises daily and follows a
healthy diet. “I have a family history
of diabetes, high blood pressure and
high cholesterol, and I know that can
lead to an early death. So I [take care
of myself] not because I get off on it,
but because I want to live!”

SQUEEZE IN EXERCISE
As a working mom to 7-month-old
daughter Kaavia, Gabrielle stays
busy, but she still finds time to break a
sweat. “I’m not a morning person, but I
have to work out early because of my
schedule,” she explained, adding that
her daily routine usually consists of 15
to 20 minutes of cardio, plus strength
training (including weighted squats
and lunges) and Pilates. “That’s been
the perfect combination that my body
responds to at this age.”
