Belle Meade Family Dental
Belle Meade Family Dental, located in the Dogwood area of Flowood was opened in 2003 by Dr. Jason Cox. Dr. Cox
received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry in 2002 and is a Summa
Cum Laude graduate of University of Southern Mississippi. While in his third year of dental school, Dr. Cox was led to
specific property on Lakeland Drive that had yet to be developed. One evening, he and his wife stood and prayed in the
very location that, two years later, became a reality for his successful practice.
Dr. Cox is trained and skilled in all disciplines of dentistry, including dental implants, dental surgery, clear aligner
orthodontics, root canals, and tissue grafts with 3D imaging. He attended the Global Institute for Dental Education and
completed extensive training in implant therapy, bone grafting and sinus lifting procedures. His investment in CAM/
CAD dentistry provides patients with same-day crowns, veneers, bridges, on-lays, and other prosthesis that offers better
accuracy, reduces the need for referrals and is more convenient for patients’ schedules.
Dr. Cox has been married to his wife, Leah, for 24 years and has three sons—Jonas, Fletcher, and Asher. His family
attends Pinelake Church where Dr. Cox leads a men’s Bible study. An avid cyclist and runner, Dr. Cox is a four-time
Ironman finisher. He enjoys coaching his son’s baseball team and hunting in his spare time. Dr. Cox says that “dentistry
is a calling, not only to help my patients with their dental needs, but I’m also there as an encourager of overall health and
