Glitter snowflake
invitations are easy to
make – all you need is
light blue cardboard,
silver glitter, glue
and a pen. Cut out
snowflake shapes
and write the party
details on one side,
then cover the other
side in glue. Place the
side with the glue on
it down into a plate
of glitter, then take it
out and shake off the
excess glitter. Give
each invite a hit of
hairspray to keep the
glitter in place.Create a winter wonderland in your lounge room.
Make some more cardboard glitter snowflakes to
place on the windows. Stick cardboard snowmen
on the walls, and hang white streamers and silver
balloons from the ceiling. Also, ask your parents if
you can raid their stash of Christmas lights. For the
main party table, fill a big bowl with silver and blue
Christmas baubles as your table centerpiece. Some
pretty tea lights will also be a cute touch.Winter Makeover Pep Up
The cooler weather and grey
skies can make us all feel a
little un-glam, so feel fabulous
again by planning some mini
makeovers. Give each other
manicures and pedicures with
bright nail polish, and whip up
some refreshing facial masks
that will get you out of your
winter blues in no time. Mashed
up avocado and honey, or
yogurt and freshly-squeezed
orange juice make perfect
