My Wedding – July 2019

READY, STEADY ... WEDDING!

Are you up at night thinking about wedding dress designs and wedding invites?

Everyone knows that planning a wedding can be stressful, but as long as you are
organised there is no reason why you can’t enjoy it! Have your wedding cake
and eat it too with our handy wedding timeline, and tick off as your wedding day
approaches.

Whether you want a traditional event, or something more bohemian, a simple,
intimate gathering, or a full blown gala, beach wedding or Church, pin down your
partner and write a list of your priorities for the day.

The Dress. Arguably more important than choosing the groom, your wedding dress
is probably something you have been imagining since you were a little girl. Once
you have decided on the style and colour concept for your wedding, you can then
tie it in to the style of you dress, the bridesmaids, décor and wedding invites.

Choose your photographer and entertainment, and make sure your caterer is
booked in.

Go wild on your plans for table settings and how you want your wedding dinner to
look. Whatever your personal style, rustic, classic or modern, flowers and candles
are always a good idea, and go a long way in creating ambiance.

Pin down responsible members of your bridal party and give them specific tasks
so that you will not be dealing with things on the day. Put them in charge of things
like asking guests to write in the wedding book. Have a running sheet of the day
that you can pass to your bridal party or close family members with timings and
important phone numbers, such as that of the wedding car driver! Don’t forget to
let your hair down for some well-deserved celebrations too- you’re finally getting
married, enjoy the day and embrace every single moment.
