“IF YOU EVER
HAVE THE
OPPORTUNITY
TO VISIT MILAN
DESIGN WEEK,
DO IT!”
- “It’s a little cheeky, I know,” says Thabisa
about choosing her Sacrosanct Hut as
one of her five favourites. Inspired by
her Potjie server, the hut served as the
entrance to the South African collective’s
exhibition, sponsored by Nando’s. - Breeze of Light was an immersive
installation designed by nendo for
Daikin. It reflected the experience and
sensation of “invisible air”. - Conifera by COS was a 3D-printed
bioplastic installation designed by
architect Arthur Mamou-Mani. - Tides, an exhibition by South Korean
designer Kwangho Lee in collaboration
with Danish art and design practice
Wang & Söderström, was probably the
most Instagrammable. - Chilean design was represented
by Grupo Alma, a collective of young
designers. Alberto Vitelio’s chair is worth
a special mention.
