standing at the front door, which leads
into the brick entrance-cum-wet-room,
which has ample cupboard space for
storing the active family’s hiking and
running gear.
BELOW AND BELOW RIGHT Siberian larch
was used for the floor and birch plywood
for the joinery, adding warmth to the
otherwise light interior.
OPPOSITE A large vertical window in the
kitchen lets in plenty of light and offers
a view of the sea in the far distance.
A white hand-made sink by Shaws
of Darwen and pastel-green Smeg
appliances add a retro touch. The table
is by James Mudge and the chairs are by
Vogel Design.
