orangery of our dreams

ranka Johnston, 29, moved into

her three-bedroom home in Bury

St Edmunds with husband Daniel

and their 18-month-old son Hudson over

two years ago, and the large garden and

beautiful sun room were the biggest draws

of the house. ‘I loved the open aspect of

the room, with its high windows and

wooden beams – the views into the garden

‘However, since we moved in, we’d

forgotten what we loved about it. It had

lost its purpose and was filled with clutter.’

With summer on the way, Franka wanted

to breathe life and light back into the room

to make it a space that they could all enjoy

in the evenings. She wanted to ensure
