o you think you could buy a
high-quality tactical folding
knife for under $50?
Most knife people, when asked this
question, will tell you that the only thing
you can expect for this price is an imported
knife of questionable quality. The market is
flooded with inexpensive “tactical” folding
knives made in China. Many of these knives
look similar to much more expensive knives
from well-known manufacturers, while
others look like something straight out of a
costume catalog.
While many of these knives might look
appealing, the buyer can never be sure
what they are getting. Ruike Outdoor Tools
Manufacturing recognized this problem and
sought to do something about it.
The P671-CB was introduced into
the Ruike lineup in 2018 and is one
of their more unique designs. It was
designed to be a sturdy, easy-to-open
EDC knife that would fall within the
legal limitations set forth in a variety
of laws.
I recently had the opportunity to see
how well it held up for a sub-$50 knife.
