Knives Illustrated – August 2019

(Elliott) #1
The P671-CB uses a
partial flow-through
design. The backspacer
is stainless steel and
incorporates non-
aggressive jimping and
a lanyard hole.

The thin grind and
curved edge profile
make the blade an
e„cient cutter, even
through challenging
materials.

Forgot your pencil
sharpener? No problem.
The P671 has you

“IT IS 2.76 INCHES IN

LENGTH, MAKING IT

LEGAL TO CARRY IN

MOST PLACES WHERE

LOCKING KNIVES ARE

ALLOWED.”

The knife is constructed using a partial
flow-through design. It incorporates a
thick, stainless steel backspacer, which
stands above the liners and grips and
includes non-aggressive jimping and a
lanyard hole.

The pocket clip is a stainless steel,
deep-carry loop design which is well-
tensioned and provides good retention
in the pocket. Despite this being a
left-hand friendly knife, the pocket clip
is tip-up right side only.

Construction of the knife is simple. Not
including the two screws holding the
clip in place, there are only three screws
holding the knife together: the pivot up
front and two small Torx head screws in
the rear of the knife.

Testing
I have two separate categories for EDC
folders: woods knives and work knives.
My work knives are what I carry most
of the time and I expect them to open
mail and packages, slash heavy plastic
bags containing wood pellet fuel, slice
fruits, and vegetables, cut wire ties,
and anything else that might come up
during the day.
