THE HIGH

POINT

Rian O’Neill’s second goal against
Monaghan last weekend left Armagh
2-15 to 0-11 up with little more than
10 minutes to go. Game over. It must
have been a very sweet moment for
the Orchard men, to be lording it once
more after having gotten so used to the
supremacy of their neighbours in recent
years.

THE LOW

POINT

With 20 minutes to go the first day
out against Cavan, Armagh led by four
and still tripped up. Yet their biggest
regret will be the first five minutes
of the replay, when they missed two
glorious goal chances. Eleven years
without an Ulster final appearance
became 12 in those moments.
