CROKE PARK’S HIDDEN HABITATS

Croke Park is a wonderland of hidden habitats, from
the insects thriving in our Bug B&B to the blue tits
nesting in our bird boxes, not forgetting the family
of bats who appear at night to circle the upper levels
of the stadium. Recently-installed swift boxes at the
Hill 16 end are providing a much-needed home for
the local population of this amber-listed bird.

BLAS MEALA
Croke Park has collaborated with local beekeepers
Colm Fogarty and Neil Hanlon to install a number
of beehives on the Croke Park turf farm in North
County Dublin. Colm and Neil have recently
harvested the first batch of Croke Park honey and
the stadium’s chefs are all a-buzz as they produce a
range of honey-based dishes available throughout
the stadium for Sustainability Day today.

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE
This Sustainability Day, Croke Park is trialling
reusable pint glasses in bars in the Lower Hogan
Stand. Pint drinkers will pay a refundable one euro
deposit with the purchase of their first drink and this
deposit can be reclaimed at any of the many return
points throughout the stand. Please look out for
our Green Team who are on hand throughout the
stadium to answer any questions you may have.

Bain taitneamh as an lá – Enjoy the Day!

Céard atá i gceist le hinbhuanaitheacht i gcomthéacs Pháirc an Chrócaigh? Is é an tiomantas
céanna atá ag croílár CLG – meas ar an duine, ar an oidhreacht, ar an todhchaí. Is fúinne atá
sé beart a dhéanamh de réir ár mbriarthar agus a chinntiú go mbíonn an meas sin á léiriú
sna cinntí a dhéanaimid agus na tograí a chuirimid i bhfeidhm anseo i bPáirc an Chrócaigh –
seod agus spiorad-lár CLG.
