“When I'm photographing on the streets, it's random
people. They trust me enough to just let me take their
photo. I find that that's incredibly fascinating, and it's
for two reasons; this might be an open person and they

are just not concerned, but also, I've found, especially

from photographing marginalized communities, that

they've never really had a good photo taken of them.”
