Quilting Arts

Transitioning out of homelessness and into a permanent residence is life changing. To celebrate this

event, quilt artist Jamie Fingal has partnered with Furnishing Hope, an organization that supplies

home furnishings for individuals and families as they transition to independent living. Jamie’s

project, Heart of the Home, makes and donates a unique wall quilt for each new dwelling. We asked

you, generous readers, to create art quilts to be donated to this project. Each quilt is 14" square and

prominently features the image of a house. Over the course of two months, QA readers made and

donated 359 quilts in total!
