season nine – what’s bigger and
better than before? I think because it
hasn’t been on for a number of years,
the actual pool of talent has just really
refreshed and there are so many truly
amazing acts!
How’s the chemistry in the new
judging panel with you, Manu
Feildel, Nicole Scherzinger and
Shane Jacobson? We do get along
well! We have quite different tastes
in what we like, which is probably
quite useful, but we all respect and
like each other. The two boys are a
hilarious comedy duo at all times,
and Nicole and I spend a lot of time
during the danger numbers clutching
each other’s hands in suspense!
Apollo Jackson set himself on fire
to try to win! Are you shocked how
far people will go to stand out in thecompetition? I had noidea the
lengths they would go to, from the
terrifying to the ridiculous to the
X-rated to the truly dangerous. Lordy!
Was it a huge adjustment going from
acting to judging? I found it tricky as
I just wanted to will everyone to do
their best because I know what it’s like
to be the person on stage.
Will there be a season three of your
other show The Letdown? I am
crossing everything that there will
be! I would absolutely love that.
I adore working on that show.
