Coventry Motors launches

all-new Range Rover Evoque

Coventry Motors Corp. launched the all-new

Ranger Rover Evoque in the country, upgrading

the compact SUV to a new generation.

The new Evoque features Land Rover’s new

Transverse Architecture making it wider and

longer than the previous model. The extra width

and length add knee-room at the rear seats and

a 10% larger luggage space. The new Evoque is

now also taller than its predecessor enabling it

to wade in water up to 600 mm.

The luxury compact SUV also features All Wheel

Drive as well as Range Rover’s second-generation

Active Driveline with Driveline Disconnect

and Adaptive Dynamics to deliver a balance of

comfort and agility.

The interior comes with a two 10-inch

touchscreen Touch Pro Duo system that’s

partnered with a Meridian sound system that

comes as standard in all models.

The Evoque also comes packed with various all-

terrain technologies. It has the Terrain Response

technology (first found on full-sized Range

Rovers), which detects the surface being driven

and adjusts the setup accordingly. It also has Hill

Descent Control, Gradient Release Control, and

All-Terrain Progress Control.

Another fun feature of the Evoque is the “Clear

Sight Rear View” that transforms the rear-view

mirror into an HD screen when rear visibility

is compromised. Range Rover also comes

with active safety features such as Lane Keep

Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking (for

R-Dynamic HSE units only) and Driver Condition

Monitor.

Not only is the all-new Evoque longer and

wider, it is now also taller thereby enabling it

to wade through water levels of up to 600mm

(previously 500mm). Ground clearance of

the Evoque is at 212mm, while approach and

departure angles are 20.8 degrees in the front

and 20.6 degrees in the rear.

The new Evoque will come in four variants. The

SE Diesel will be priced at PHP 5,090,000, the

R-Dynamic HSE Diesel 2.0 will be at PHP 5,490,000,

the R-Dynamic HSE 2.0 Petrol will be priced at PHP

5,590,000 and the top of the class R-Dynamic HSE

MHEV 2.0 will be priced at PHP 6,190,000.
