ROOF OF THE WORLD
Whether it’s trekking up the mountains to
clear up fogged thoughts or just getting a nice
massage or yoga session to gain peace of
mind, there is nothing more calming than the
natural aura of this mountainous nation.
One of Nepal’s highland highlights is
The Annapurna Massif of the Himalayas,
which includes Annapurna I Main; the tenth
highest mountain in the world. Although
stunning aesthetically, it is one of the most
dangerous mountains in the world to climb,
the numerous climbing fatalities serve as
reminders for how ruthless nature can be. For
those not brave enough to take the mountains
head on, watching from afar reaps its own
rewards, a view of the Annapurna Massif from
the city of Pokhara cannot be compared with
any other sights on Earth.

POKHARA- ADVENTURE CITY
With the bitterly cold days behind, the periods
between June and July are perfect to enjoy
the views of the Annapurna in Pokhara. More
importantly, it is the best time to take part
in some of the adventure activities Pokhara
is known for. The mountainous terrain
surrounding the city means opportunities to
perform extreme sports are abundant. From
paragliding, to bungee jumping and zip-lining,
there are so many more ways to take in the
wonders of the Himalayas than just taking
photographs.
