Kalpitiya is the learning hub for kitesurfing in Sri Lanka. It is a peninsula located North West of the island. The

Kappalady is another favourite for kite-surfers. It is about 15km south of Kalpitiya and is less crowded, featuring

quality kitesurfing kits. Building confidence to handle the equipment independently is the first hurdle for beginners
