The trend for using the ceiling
as a canvas for creativity is on
the up. As it’s a peripheral area
in a room, the ceiling offers an
opportunity to be a bit wild.
‘A pattern such as stripes or
stars brings life and fun to a
space,’ says interior designer
Emma Pocock. ‘This idea works
particularly well in a small
room, such as a bathroom,
with a high ceiling.’
