“I replaytheweddinginmyheadlikeit wasyesterday,”
saysTheVoiceKidsmentorDanny,whohadMcFly’sTom
Fletcher,HarryJuddandDougiePoynterasthreeofhis
bestmen.“Itwassuchanamazingday.Loveis a powerful
thingandweweresurroundedbysomanypeoplewho
loveus.”
Ifthereisa senseoffeelingathomeforhello!’s
exclusivephotoshoottomarktheiranniversary,it is hardly
surprisingastheweddingreceptionwasheldhereat
Georgia’sparents’homeinNorthYorkshire.
“Everytimewecomeupthedrivewayit makesmego
backtothatday,”saysDanny.“It’ssobeautiful,andit’snice
tohavethatfamilyhistorythere.”
AddsGeorgia:“Itholdsa lotoflovelymemories.I tell
myparents:‘Youareneverallowedtomove.Notever!’”“Somuchhaschangedinourlivessincethatday,”says
Danny.Notleastbecomingparents.Sodidhehavehis
sightssetonbecominga fatherfromthatday?
“Yeah,definitely.I thoughtwe’dhavea houseinthe
countryandGeorgiawouldbetherechillingwithallthe
kids.Butinfactweliveinthecityandwe’rebothreally
busy.Sothetotalopposite,”helaughs.McDADS
It’snotonly33-year-oldDannywhohasbecomea father
sincetheweddingon2 August2014.Harrynowhastwo
childrenwithwifeIzzy.MeanwhileTom,whohadbecome
a fatherfivemonthsbeforethebigday,hasthreechildren
withwifeGiovanna.
“You’dthinkwe’dseeeachothermorebutnowthat
we’rebusydadswehavetobookweeklymeetingsin,”jokes
Dannyoftheir“BreakfastClub”meets.
“Itis usuallyabsolutecarnagewithallthekidsrunning
about,butit’slovelyas noneofuscares,”addsGeorgia,32.
“Weareallinthesameboat.Dougieis likethecrazyuncle
whohasn’tgota cluewhat’sgoingonbutlovesit.”
