has spent most of his life in hospital after
being born prematurely at 27 weeks and
seemed delighted to meet the royal visitor.
“Have you never seen a beard before?”
joked Harry before telling Noah’s mother
Tracy: “He is being well behaved.”
The excited toddler promptly tookoff
his shoe and threw it away before hitting
Harry with his toy giraffe. But the smiling
Duke didn’t mind and playfully retaliated
by putting the giraffe on Noah’s head.
Speaking afterwards, Tracy, from
Grimsby, Lincolnshire, said: “Noahhas
been in hospital virtually all his life, sohe
has not seen a lot of different things.”
She said of Harry’s visit: “It was lovely,
wasn’t it? He was really good withthe
children. He was really approachable.”


MEMORY LANE
The Duke, who was at the hospital to open
new £40m wing, was following in the footstep
of his mother the Princess of Wales.Sh
visited the hospital nearly 30 years ago,i

Harry also met Julie Austin, a former
nurse at the hospital for 34 years who

Inside was former nurse Julie Austin, who had
met Harry’s mother on her visit in 1989. Julie
said of the Prince: “He was absolutely like his
mum.” Harry (below) is given a teddy with a
sash reading “HRH Theo” for his son Archie
