stretchesofrivercreateidealrest-
ingandfeedingspots.Huntersare
treatedtoa goodmixofpuddle
ducksandgeeseaswell,makingthe
MississippiRivera premierwater-
fowlingdestination.
The bigriverrequiresadaptingto
shiftingwinddirectionsandever-
changingriverconditionsthatcould
rangefromcascadingcurrentto
quicklydroppingwaterlevels.All
datais consideredwhiledetermining
wheretheduckswilllandtocreatea
