The team goes hunting for homes with perfect pools

It’s easy to find stunning pools for
millionaires, but this charming
three-bedroom cottage in
Lot-et-Garonne would suit me just
fine. It’s within walking distance of
the restaurants, bars and shops of
Tombeboeuf, between Eymet and Villeneuve-sur-
Lot, and close to a very popular golf course. For
the modest pricetag, that’s a decent-sized pool
with decking surround and I love the covered
terrace and pretty gardens. I would refresh the
interior, but that would be all part of the fun!

Hidden away in the courtyard of an
historic villa in a hilltop village, this
gorgeous pool is straight out of my
dreams. I would feel like a Greek
goddess taking to the waters or
lounging in the pool house,
preferably being fanned and fed grapes. When
not relaxing with friends in my stylish 17th-
century home with its four bedrooms and large
vaulted rooms all laid around the pool courtyard,
I would go for a walk to one of the renowned
village restaurants or visit Avignon or Uzès just 30
minutes away. Bliss!

The only thing better than a
room with a view is a pool
with a view, and this one
would be perfect for me. It
belongs to a luscious stone
house a short drive from the
heart of the River Dordogne tourism
hotspots, set in 5.7 acres of private land.
My family would live in the beautiful
three-bedroom house while guests could
have the one-bedroom apartment. No
doubt we’d all make use of the enormous
summer room, covered terrace and pool!
