SENOL GUNES will take over as coach
of Turkey for a second time, as of June 1.

Portuguese coach PAULO SOUSA
replaced Ricardo Gomes at Ligue 1
side Bordeaux.

JAAP STAM will leave PEC Zwolle at
the end of the current Eredivisie season
and replace Giovanni Van Bronckhorst as
coach of Feyenoord.

Roma return for Ranieri
Sacked after just 106 days as manager of Premier League
strugglers Fulham, CLAUDIO RANIERI took charge of
Roma until the end of the season after they dismissed
Eusebio Di Francesco following their Champions League
exit to Porto. As part of the clear-out, Roma’s sporting
director Monchi also left the club.
Ranieri, who was previously in charge of Roma from
2009 to 2011, agreed a short-term contract until the end
of the season.

Spaniard JUAN CARLOS GARRIDO,
who led Raja Casablanca to victory in
the 2018 CAF Confederation Cup, was
appointed coach of UAE’s Al Ain.

ERWIN KOEMAN succeeded Dutch
compatriot Pim Verbeek as coach of
Oman. Interim boss FAJR IBRAHIM was
handed the permanent job with Syria.

Chilean JOSE LUIS SIERRA replaced
Slaven Bilic as coach of Saudi Pro
League side Al Ittihad.

OCEANIA


Northern Irishman PAUL MUNSTER,
who won two trophies in seven months
while in charge of Indian top-flight side
Minerva Punjab, was appointed national
coach of Vanuatu.

Former Linfield boss WARREN
FEENEY took charge of Ards, who were
bottom of the NIFL Premiership, until
the end of the season.

SOUTH AMERICA


Former Celta Vigo, Sevilla and Athletic
Bilbao boss EDUARDO BERIZZO was
appointed national coach of Paraguay
after Juan Carlos Osorio resigned for
family reasons after just five months
in the job.

CONCACAF


Uruguayan FABIAN COITO left his
post as his country’s Under-20 boss to
become national coach of Honduras.

Mexican side Toluca appointed JOSE
LUIS REAL to replace Argentinian coach
Hernan Cristante until the end of the
season, with the side 15th in the Liga MX.
