STYLE & BEAUTY

#1

Split your clothes into batches. Start
with one and put them all on your
bed, on their hangers. Focus – you may
find other things in your wardrobe, but for
now, concentrate on the clothes. Getting
side-tracked could see you spending the
night in a bed full of hangers!

#2

Consider each piece, one at a time,
and be realistic about whether you
will wear it again. Try it on to see what
it looks like, then check reactions from
friends and family to help you decide
whether to keep it or throw it out.

#3

Look at all your options for
passing on your unwanted clothes

  • the bin should not be one of them.
Sort them into piles or into bags, and
plan when to dispose of these.

For Kids
Is your child a budding fashionista? MDIS
School of Fashion and Design’s upcoming
Project Vogue Jr. is an interactive creative
platform where kids can learn about sustainable
fashion and create a product from pre-loved
items under the guidance of industry experts.
Held every Sunday from 14 July to 4 August,
the four-week workshop will culminate in
a gala fashion show, where the children will
showcase their creations on stage.
