Expat Living Singapore – July 2019

42 JULY 2019

After a long day at work or with the kids, everyone
needs a comfy sofa to sink into. We asked a few
readers for their sofa store recommendations and
why they love their new living room centrepieces.

We had just moved into an unfurnished space, so
buying a new sofa was a necessity!
We really wanted a modular piece, as it would have
to grow and evolve with us wherever we were. It also
needed to have good depth and length to accommodate
my husband’s tall frame!
I had purchased a pair of second-hand lamps online,
and when I collected them from their owner, I was
mesmerised by the beauty of the bookshelf in her
home. That was my introduction to Soul & Tables!
When we saw this sofa in their Tan Boon Liat
showroom, we fell in love with it immediately, even
though we had already ordered one from a different
retailer. (Oops!) We were obsessed by the design and
were thrilled to discover just how comfortable it was.

We ended up cancelling our initial order and bought
this one instead. It met our requirements and exceeded
our expectations. We never looked back.
It was a wonderful shopping experience with Soul
& Tables. The customer service is top notch, and we
appreciate how their items have a lifetime warranty.
We have several pieces from them now, as we love
their design aesthetic as well as how responsive and
helpful they always are.
