REMEMBERING REMBRANDT
This year marks the 350th anniversary of the passing of legendary Dutch artist
Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn. Honouring his storied legacy, Amsterdam’s
Conservatorium Hotel—in collaboration with Rijksmuseum—is offering guests the
chance to relive the painter’s glory days with the Art Suite by Rembrandt package.
Local designer Irma Boom was tapped to reimagine Rembrandt’s The Night Watch
painting through the colour scheme of the suite, while artist Sarah van Sonsbeeck
was commissioned to create an inspired reinterpretation of the piece. This package
also offers guests access to the exhibitions and special events happening at the
Rijksmuseum.

HOLD MY COGNAC
When you have one of the world’s rarest
and most luxurious cognac blends in your
possession, it goes without saying that
you’d need a specially-designed case to
lug it around. For that reason, Hennessy
and Louis Vuitton have rolled out the ultra-
stylish Paradis Impérial Trunk Set to carry
four magnums of the Paradis Impérial.
Not only that, the monogrammed set also
comes with serving tools and a separate
Nomad case to serve up to 18 people at a
time. Industrial artist Arik Levy has been
enlisted to design a fancy crystal decanter
with a faceted design that shows off the
cognac’s warm golden tone in all of its
splendour.
