are left unglazed to highlight the earthy
and raw elements of the materials used.
Handmade in Sydney using high-quality
porcelain from Limoges, the items in
this collection are moulded with both

Premium Rush
First introduced during Kris Van Assche’s tenure, Dior Homme has renewed its
partnership with BMX manufacturer Bogarde and unveiled the latest iteration of its
BMX bike. Now reimagined through the eyes of reigning artistic director Kim Jones,
the bike boasts Dior’s staple oblique motif on its frame which recalls Jones’ B23
sneakers. The bicycle also features a pearlised metal finish, a white saddle with
silver logo, and a chrome-finish sprocket mirror with corresponding
limited-edition numbering.

COS AND EFFECT
Upping the ante for its eighth rendezvous
at the Salone del Mobile, COS joined forces
with French architect Arthur Mamou-Mani
for Conifera. Described as a large-scale
3D printed architectural installation made
from renewable resources, Conifera was
inspired by the square-motif patterns within
the Palazzo Isimbardi—a Milan landmark
where the installation was set up at. The
digitally designed spectacle was created
from 700 interlocking modular “bio bricks”
before they were 3D-printed in a mix of
wood and bioplastic. Through Conifera,
Mamou-Mani shared his vision of the future
where sustainable materials—with the use
of an algorithmic approach and distributed
3D printing—are the viable alternative in the
face of rampant modernisation.
