Rather than throw away the partial blocks
you trimmed from the table runner, turn
them into bonus projects. Designer
Rebecca Lidstrom aligned the 90° angles
of four trimmed pieces and sewed them
together in pairs. She joined the pairs to
make an Hourglass unit. She repeated
the process to make
a second unit, then
trimmed each unit to
12" square to make
