i
make a lot of my work using a technique called
wholecloth painting and use acrylic textile paints to
color the surface. Sometimes, it is pretty tricky to get the
very fi ne lines and small details I want. For medium lines,
I dilute the paint slightly with water and a little bit of base
extender (which is, basically, the material paint is made of
before the addition of pigments for color).
