GCM Consultants is a consulting

engineering company. It serves

customers in several industries including

engineering, operations and maintenance.

For this project my aim was to build a new

website interface, rejuvenate the image of the

company through its new logo and reflect the

interior design of its offices.

The main objective was to attract

customers, as the website provides all sorts

of information about the services GCM offers.

With the colours taken from the logo, the

bright blue really stands out from GCM’s

competitors. The red chimney adds contrast

and depth, layering with one of the three

important keywords of the company.

Work Sans is the only font used throughout

the website. Using contrasting typography

with different weights makes a great

hierarchy and creates perfect balance.

PROFILE

I am a versatile graphic
designer who
particularly likes
typography. My design
style is especially clean
and every one of my
design choices are done
through great
meticulous effort.

What have you been
working on/doing this
month?
Recently I’ve been
mainly working on my
portfolio. For example,
working on school
projects that I hadn’t
had time to add to my
web portfolio or new
personal projects such
as the GCM Consultants
website redesign. I’ve
also been creating logos
for different people and
small organisations.
This web project is my
most recent one and I
enjoyed it a lot.
