Craft a Christmas decoration with the wow factor

when you make Julie Gibbs’ stylish light-up dome

D

omes are very on-trend in home
décor at the moment, and with
Julie’s clever DIY version you can
cra yourself a stylish luminary to light up
your home this Christmas!
We just love Julie’s Scandi-style scene,
complete with cute winter cabin and festive
reindeer. Simply pop the wooden elements
out from the sheet and colour with watered-
down Distress Inks and acrylic paints. To

make it extra special, add sparkle with
gold gilding flakes and display your scene
in a globe with built-in electric tealight, as
we have. Julie has attached die-cut vellum
inside the globe for a frosty nish, too.
This make, full of childhood nostalgia,
would make a precious present. Whether it
sits on the mantelpiece, under the tree or
on top of the coee table, this is the perfect
addition to your festive decorating.
