Q Tell us about your
ovely gift box!
AT p die is the perfect size to
embellish a box, so I made a tall box to store
some homemade biscuits in. I covered the
box with fancy die cuts before adding the
poinsettia topper. The die-cut leaves really
make the poinsettia stand out, and I added a
few stamens in the centre to finish.
Q Do you have any ideas for what else you
could do with the

Pretty Poinsettia
Twist & Reveal
die set?
A This die set
would be
wonderful for
Christmas – you
could make a
hanging garland
with these
poinsettias!

Q Tell us about your
ovely card!
A I decided to cut my
poinsettia out of silver
, a lacy petals over the top
for a frosty flower feel. I added some green
foliage behind the flower for a nice pop of
colour against the white.
Q Do you have a top tip for embellishing
your final card?
A For an additional festive flurry, die cut
small snowflakes and use to decorate the
whitespacebehindyourflower.

What a cracker
Add extra die-cut petals to create a double-layered
poinsettia! This clever diamond fold design looks like a
Christmas cracker but folds into a square for easy posting.
That’s a wrap!
If stamping’s your thing, stamp poinsettia leaves and
petals onto coloured papers. Fussy cut, ink and arrange
onto a wrap-style card and secure with silver ribbon.
Q What do you think
bout this project?
A This is a simply
orgeous die set! This
a go ous place setting, but I
intend to use mine as a present topper by
pushing the central brad through a ribbon
before tying.
Q Do you have a top tip for folding the
die-cut poinsettia?
A Cupping the die-cut poinsettia in the palm
of one hand helped shape the flower, whilst
pleating the folds into the magic final fold.
Don’t fret – it suddenly falls into place and
once you have completed one flower, you’re
anexpert!
