dc, (sc, dc) in next sc; rep from
across to
last 2 sts, sk next dc, sc in last sc, turn.
Fasten off at end of last row.

FINISHING
Weave in ends.

Block cover to 10" tall and 15½ " wide.

Fabric sleeve (make 2)
Hem short ends of 10¾ " × 12½ " fabric
piece by ¼ ". Fold fabric in half, lengthwise,

and sew sides tog, leaving ¼ " selvedge edge
on each side. Turn RS out. Rep for second
fabric piece.

Assembly
Place 1 fabric sleeve over each cover of
journal. Open journal facedown. With RS
of crocheted cover facing up, align edges
