Abbreviations
■ M1 (make 1 stitch): Use the bar
between the st you have just knitted
and the one you are about to knit.
Pick it up with the LH needle from
front to back. Then knit into the back
of this stitch to create a new stitch
■ M1p (make one stitch purlwise): Use
the bar between the st you have just
purled and the one you are about to
knit. Pick it up with the LH needle
from back to front. Purl into the front
of this stitch to create a new stitch
■ MB (make bobble): (K1, yfwd, k1,
yfwd, k1) all in one stitch, turn and
p5, turn and k5, turn and p5, turn and
k5, then pass the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and
5th stitches over the first stitch
■ C6B (cable 6 sts back): Slip the next
3 sts onto a CN and hold at the back
