Step 1
1 Draw the objects with a 2B pencil.
2 Use varying mixes of yellow, red and a little blue to create the warm
and cool greys for the jug, the beaker and the background. Paint the
lightest colours first with the highlights isolated as white paper.

Step 2
Build up the painting with more colour: red and yellow for the
oranges; and blue with a little red for the tones on the mug.
