Moonscapes
The Watts Gallery in Surrey is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first moon
landing with an exhibition of work by 19th century artists and scientists focusing
on the moon. Included will be dramatic moonlit landscapes by William Holman
Hunt and symbolist paintings of moon goddesses by Evelyn De Morgan, as well as
early lunar photography. The exhibition is accompanied with a programme of
workshops and events.
