The day after they performed at the Toronto
Rock and Roll Revival, a star-studded 12-hour
concert in September 1969 at Toronto’s Varsity
Stadium that also featured Chuck Berry and
the Doors, the members of the Plastic Ono
Band (from left: Alan White, Eric Clapton, Klaus
Voormann, Lennon and Ono) practiced their
peace signs by the hotel pool.
