The photographs of Bologna-based artist

Giuseppe Palmisano are an erotic hybrid of

interiors, objects and the human body,

rousing questions of identity, intimacy and

femininity. His surreal compositions often

comprise nude, faceless models draped,

wedged or morphed into furnishings and

other household objects. The artist plays

first chair in this story, sparking a dialogue

between the body, domestic design and

Palmisano’s first taste of fashion photography.

The results are sensual, harmonic and

very much part of the furniture.
