The sunsets in theMiddle

East are always stunning and

I managed to capturethis

silhouetted shot of Lewis

Hamilton cresting the pitlane

exit during qualifying.

He is about to descend and

turn left throughthe tunnel

under the track and join on

the outside of Turn 2.

This shot used to work quite

well on a longer lens but the

track rules have changed for

photographers over the years

and we can nolonger get a

clean head-on shot, so we

have to stand a littleto the

left of centre.

I used a wider lens and was

able touse the lengths of both

walls either side of the track to

frame the image.
