For the second free practice
session in Brazil I was shooting
at the tight hairpin at Turn 8
and from there I could see up
to the entrance of the pitlane.
I noticed cars were sparking as
they hit the ground onentry.
Normally, this isn’t a part
of the circuit where this would
happen, but I assumed the cars
were heavy in FP2 due to heavy
fuel race simulations.
The entrance to the
Interlagos pitlane is very
difficult to reach, so the only
way to achieve this shot is from
a rearward perspective.
I managed to capture this
shot of a Williams entering the
pits at fullspeed and suddenly
hitting the brakes hard to come
down to thespeed limit, which
createdthis amazing shower
of sparks.
