Foinaven
“The Foinaven-Arkle Traverse was
one of those hill routes which I’d
put off for years, always waiting
for a perfect weather forecast
for photography. When the day
inally came, it was clear there
was potential for some beautiful
light at sunrise. An extremely early
start saw me positioned high on
Foinaven for dawn, with my camera
set up in anticipation. It didn’t last
long, but I was treated to a couple
of minutes of vivid light, glistening
off the rocks at my feet and the
steep lanks of Arkle.”
