he Amazon Echo Glow is a kid-friendly smart light that cycles through
16 colors with a tap of your hand. This smallish orb-shaped lamp is
easy to get up and running, works with Amazon’s FreeTime service,
and can be programmed to follow Alexa routines that allow it to interact with
other Alexa-enabled products. That said, you’ll need a separate Alexa device to
control the Glow with your voice, as it lacks a speaker and microphone, and it’s
not bright enough to be used for anything other than mood lighting or a
