west Pier withno realhopeof
ca tchinganythingspecial.
“I t had been a few years
since I had last visited there
wi th my camera, but seeing
im ages online made me wantto
tr y my luck at the iconic pier
once more. the clouds were
dr amatic and moody, but didn’t
look as though they would
make a stunning sunset...
then they proved me wrong!

upthehighcloudsabovethe
darkandmoodylowerlevel.
thelightwaschangingquickly
atfirstbutthensettleddown
and burnedforquitea while.

tomaintaintheshutterspeed
I wanted.I justkeptshooting,
waveafterwave,andended
upfillingmy memorycards
beforeI finallyheadedhome.

andforeground.”
