A sub-scale Calcium Hydride test cell has provided insight into the chemistry at the 1100
C operating conditions. Years of design and system testing have been carried out for a
25 KW Dual Shell Stirling Engine that can operate in the 1100 C temperature range
using an integrated heat pipe for thermal energy delivery.
