The plan is to build on this development work and expand the configuration into an
inline 10 MW Stirling Engine operating near 50% conversion efficiency. During the
engine work our component partners have provided initial casting designs for the major
stainless components. The Sub-scale test cell was fabricated to provide pressure rated
certifications on all stainless tanks and assemblies. With elliptical stainless domes
prefabricated across the design range for both power plant sizes.
Our component partners can provide us with large-scale state-of-the-art cost-effective
stainless casting technology to accommodate Solar Plant Facility of 10 MW size system.
