Leica SL

$5,995 (body only)

The latest camera trend is giant full–frame
sensors (equivalent to full 35mm) in smaller, travel–
friendly bodies, and Leica is finally aboard, making a
huge (fashionably late) entrance. The 47–megapixel
sensor and 4K 60fps video recording tell you
something about how powerful this is: it’s fast to
autofocus (and quiet, with Leica’s SL lenses), and
can shoot 20fps continuously. Image quality is just
astounding, and not only from the huge amount of
detail you get from that sensor — the processing is
really impressive too. It’s massively expensive, yes,
but that doesn’t mean we don’t want it badly...

Colorware AirPods Pro
colorware.com
From $

>>> At this point, our only complaint about AirPods
Pro are that they only come in white — we’re really
overdue having colors that match the iPhone colors
at the very least. Colorware to the rescue: you can
order a pair of AirPods custom–finished in loads of
hues, including metallic, gloss or matt finishes. You
can choose individual colors for each bud, and for
the case (it’s $50 extra for the case, though). If you
want the iPhone–friendliness of AirPods Pro, but
a chance to stamp your own style onto it and stand
out from the crowd, this is for you.

Philips 439P9H

Philips’ original ultra–wide monitor was a huge
49 inches, so here’s a smaller version... at 43 inches!
But if you’re going to have a display that’s
essentially two 16:10 screens next to each other in
one seamless curved panel, it’s always going to be
large. The full resolution is 3820x1200, and with 10–
bit color and 95% of the P3 wide–color gamut, it’s
a good display. And it’s a USB–C hub, providing
power and connecting anything plugged into it to
your MacBook over a single cable.
