I get over 100 frames in nearly all
games, 150 if it uses SLI. My monitor
is 3440 x 1440/100Hz, so while the
pixel count is high, the frame rate
rarelydropsbelow100fps.

What was the trickiest
part of the build?
Pete: The hardest part for me
was figuring out the water-
cooling loops. It took a while
to decide on the order and
routing. Overall, this case was
amazing to build in, making it
very easy for the most part due
to the sheer size of it! Although
wiring in the fan controller was
a pain, as there wasn’t much
room in the lower part once I’d
put all the rest in. I should have
fitted it first, but ah well.

What spec did you choose
and why?
Pete: I went with AMD as my
first CPU was an Athlon 64,
which I loved to overclock, and
I’ve always appreciated the way
they aim at value. Plus, the new
Ryzen CPUs just keep getting
betterandbetter!

What overclocks can you
achieve with that cooling system,
and how fast are the frame rates
from those two GPUs?
Pete: It mostly runs at 4GHz on all
cores but it’s stable at 4.2GHz. The
system was ranked ninth in
3DMark Time Spy but has since
dropped to around 15th. Another
attempt will be happening once a
few upgrades have been made.
